BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Graduate student Mikah Maples completed competition at the 2022 NCAA East Regionals on May 26, representing Quinnipiac in the field. Maples competed in the javelin event with 48 student-athletes in three different flights.
Maples took 42nd overall with a 42.56m throw. In her flight, she finished in 10th place. The top 12 competitors overall will move on to compete in the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore. North Carolina's Madison Wiltrout too first place with a 55.75m throw.
Maples completed her track & field career as the school record holder in the discus throw and the fourth Bobcat in school history to represent Quinnipiac in the NCAA Regionals.
