Bobcats Conclude Play in Round Two at NCAA Regionals

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Quinnipiac women's golf team wrapped its second round of play at the 2022 NCAA Regionals hosted by Florida State at the Seminole Legacy Golf Course on Tuesday afternoon.
The Bobcats finished the day shooting a team score of 316 (+28) to sit at 615 (+39) for the event, tying for 11th place with the College of Charleston. Hosts and third-seeded Florida State Seminoles are tied for the team lead with second-seeded UCLA 580 (+4).
After leading the Bobcats in the opening round with a 70 (-2), Kaylee Sakoda followed with a second round score of 80 (+8) to bring her score to 150 (+6). The junior sits tied for 20th in the competitive field of 66. Leeyen Peralta rebounded from her +6 start to shoot a 74 (+2) to tie for 30th at 152 (+8). Aimee Uchida followed with an 81 (+9) to move to 155 (+11). First-year Fuge Zhang tied for 60th after the second day of competition after shooting 77-83–160 (+16). Meg Yoshida rounded out Quinnipiac's grouping after carding an 81 (+9) to bring her score to 164 (+20) to sit in 63rd.
