Bobcats Sweep Canisius with 76-55 Victory

HAMDEN, Conn. – Junior forward Mikala Morris posted 24 points and 10 rebounds for her ninth double-double of the season to lead the Quinnipiac women's basketball team past Canisius at home, 76-55, Monday afternoon inside of the People's United Center.
Mackenzie DeWees added 19 points, seven rebounds and three assists, while Amani Free contributed nine points in the victory.
The Bobcats improved to 14-8 on the season and 9-4 in the MAAC with the win, while the Golden Griffins fell to 3-19 on the campaign and 1-1 in conference-play with the loss.

- The win extended Quinnipiac's unbeaten streak against Canisius to 18 games
- The Bobcats held the Golden Griffins to 15 points in the first half, the lowest point total QU has held a team in a half this season
