Bobcats Celebrate Senior Day with 29-Point Victory Over Iona

HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women's basketball team celebrated its Senior Day with a 78-49 victory over Iona at home Saturday afternoon inside of the People's United Center.
Senior Mackenzie DeWees led the way with 18 points, nine rebounds, three assists and two steals in the victory, while Mikala Morris added 14 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks. Rose Caverly contributed 12 points and seven assists and Amani Freed added eight points and 11 rebounds in the win.
The Bobcats improved to 15-8 on the season and 10-4 in the MAAC with the win, while the Gaels fell to 7-12 on the campaign and 5-9 in conference-play with the loss.
