QU Wins 7th Straight at Home as Bobcats Down Siena, 70-49

HAMDEN, Conn. – Mackenzie DeWees scored a team-high 14 points, added seven rebounds and four steals to lead the Quinnipiac women's basketball team past MAAC foe Siena, 70-49, at home inside of the People's United Center Saturday afternoon.
Amani Free contributed 12 points, while Sajada Bonner 10 points, four rebounds and two steals in the victory.
The Bobcats improved to 18-9 on the season and 13-5 in the MAAC with the victory, while the Saints fell to 8-19 on the campaign and 8-10 in conference-play with the loss.

- The deficit proved to be too much for the Saints, as QU went on to win 70-49
- The win marked QU's seventh-straight victory at home
- Mackenzie DeWees led the way with 17 points and added seven rebounds and four steals
- Amani Free added 12 points and three rebounds
- Mikala Morris posted eight points, 11 rebounds and four assists
- It snapped her streak of consecutive double-doubles at seven straight games
- Rose Caverly added five points, six assists and two steals
