HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac put 42 shots on target but was unable to beat Cornell goaltender Ian Shane who backed the #18 Big Red to a 1-0 victory in Hamden on Friday night.

Cornell scored the game's lone goal on a power play in the first period and was able to maintain the lead to the final buzzer.
