Bobcats Claim Sixth Cleary Cup, Second Consecutive

#5/5 Men's Hockey Blanks Colgate in Regular Season Finale
HAMDEN, Conn. – #5/5 Quinnipiac exploded for a three-goal third period to defeat Colglate, 4-0, and clinch the programs sixth Cleary Cup in the last 10 seasons. Graduate student Dylan St. Cyr earned his fifth shutout of the season and 10th of his career.
Micchael Lombardi opened the scoring in the first period after deflecting a Jayden Lee shot from the blue line.
After the intermission, the Bobcats erupted for two goals in the opening 2:28 of the 2nd period thanks to Zach Metsa and a power play goal from Joey Cipollone.
Oliver Chau ripped one home just past the midway point of the period to extend the lead to 4-0, the eventual final score.

- With the win, head coach Rand Pecknold became the 10th coach in ECAC Hockey history to win 200 games in conference play.
