Bonner's 14 Points Leads QU Past Marist on the Road

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Sajada Bonner scored a team-high 14 points and added a career-high seven rebounds to lead the Quinnipiac women's basketball team past MAAC rival Marist, 65-56, on the road inside of McCann Arena Thursday afternoon.
Amani Free contributed 12 points, while Mikala Morris tallied 10 points, 12 rebounds and five assists for her conference-leading 13th double-double of the season.
The Bobcats improved to 17-9 on the season and 12-5 in the MAAC with the victory, while the Red Foxes fell to 8-18 on the campaign and 6-12 in conference-play with the loss.

- Marist was able to cut it to as close as 60-56 with 2:11 left, but it wasn't enough as the Bobcats held on for the 65–56 victory
- Sajada Bonner tallied 14 points and a career-high seven rebounds
- She scored 11 of her 14 points in the first half
