Van Nes Tallies Three Points in Win

HAMDEN, Conn. – Redshirt junior Guus van Nes scored and added two assists to help carry Quinnipiac men's ice hockey to a 4-0 win over Yale on Tuesday night. The Bobcats retained the Heroes' Hat with the victory and pulled within one win or Clarkson loss of clinching the Cleary Cup.

Goaltender Yaniv Perets made 21 saves, including six on a 5-on-3 power play, to earn his 11th shutout of the season which sets a new ECAC Hockey record.
