HAMDEN, Conn. – Three different goal scorers and eight players with points resulted in a balanced offensive attack that lifted #2/2 Quinnipiac to a 3-1 win over St. Lawrence on Friday night. The Bobcats improved to 14-1-1 in ECAC Hockey play and pulled within 12 standings points of the Cleary Cup.

Bongiovanni's two-assist effort gives the senior captain 10 points in his last seven games and five multi-point outings in that stretch.
Ethan de Jong tallied another assist in the win and now has 99 points heading into the final six games of the regular season.
Senior Zach Metsa was +2, raising his nation-leading total to +31. The Bobcats have five players inside the top 10 in the country in the category.
Quinnipiac dominated the faceoff circle again, winning 32 of 52 draws, and slightly outshot SLU by a 26-23 margin.
Perets made 22 saves in the win, improving to 17-1-2 overall with just 16 goals allowed in 20 games played. The first year has only allowed 11 even-strength goals this season.
