SCORING SUMMARY
- (3:25, 1st period, EV) Quinnipiac 0, Providence 1— Providence scored the lone goal of the first period three and a half minutes in as Lindsay Bochna hit the back crossbar over graduate netminder Logan Angers right shoulder.
- (4:50, 2nd period, EV) Quinnipiac 1, Providence 1—Senior Jess Schryver tallied her first of the year on the rebound of a Zoe Boyd one-timer, which found its way over the left pad of Friars goaltender Sandra Abstreiter. Schryver buried the loose puck to tie the game up at one.
- (5:28, 2nd period, EV) Quinnipiac 1, Providence 2— The Friars struck just 38 seconds later to take the lead back when Brooke Becker shot the puck from a tight angle on the goal line to beat Angers.
- (6:15, 2nd period, EV) Quinnipiac 2, Providence 2— Senior Kate Reilly took a holding call to send the Bobcats to the penalty kill which gave assistant captain Sadie Peart the opportunity to tie the game up at two after Providence turned the puck over trying to regroup in their own zone. Peart scored unassisted as she dangled in front of Abstreiter, who tried a poke-check, before burying the puck and giving the Bobcats their second shorthanded goal of the year.
- (11:20, 2nd period, EV) Quinnipiac 3, Providence 2—Junior Olivia Mobley gave the Bobcats the lead on a series of unfortunate events for the Friars. Mobley took a shot from the top of the near circle which deflected off Abstreiter's right shoulder and went straight up in the air. The puck proceeded to land behind Abstreiter, as she searched for it, in front of the net and trickled over the goal line.
