HAMDEN, Conn.— No. 3/4 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team will enter the new year against the national No. 2 Wisconsin Badgers. The Bobcats head into the winter break after splitting the weekend against No. 9 Providence winning the first matchup on the road 3-2 and losing at home 3-2 the next night.

HAMDEN, Conn.— No. 3/4 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team will enter the new year against the national No. 2 Wisconsin Badgers. The Bobcats head into the winter break after splitting the weekend against No. 9 Providence winning the first matchup on the road 3-2 and losing at home 3-2 the next night.
LAST TIME OUT
- The Bobcats went 17-1-1 on the year Friday, Dec. 9 when they mounted a comeback 3-2 win against the Friars on the road.
- QU went into the first intermission up 2-0 on the Friars thanks to goals from Nina Steigauf and Kendall Cooper.
- Providence proceeded to score three unanswered goals in the next two periods to split the weekend.
- Providence's last goal came on a lucky bounce off the boards that slid under a diving Logan Angers to seal the victory for the Friars.
