Boudiette Records Shutout, Bobcats Extend Win Streak

TROY, N.Y.— No. 4 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey extended their win streak to seven games and marked their fourth shutout in a row. Junior netminder Catie Boudiette tallied her fourth shutout of the season and seventh of her career.
Madison Chantler scored the first goal and the game-winner against the Engineers in the second period. Sophomore Veronica Bac gave the Bobcats a two-goal lead and junior Olivia Mobley sealed the victory on an empty net goal with just 39.7 seconds remaining.

Chantler was able to find the rebound from a Shay Maloney shot in the slot to bury it over the top of Engineers netminder Amanda Rampado right outside the edge of the circle.
- (14:44, 2nd period, EV) Quinnipiac 2, RPI 0—Junior Veronica Bac ripped a one from the slot through the legs of Rampado to give the Bobcats a two-goal lead. Courtney Vorster pushed the puck up the boards to Urban who found Bac waiting in the slot for the one-timer.
- (19:20, 3rd period, EV) Quinnipiac 3, RPI 0—Olivia Mobley added to the line's onslaught of offense this season as she sealed the Bobcats victory with an empty netter after Maddy Samoskevich passed her the puck, which she back handed into the zone and ultimately the back of the net.
