JERSEY CITY – Quinnipiac men's basketball battled, falling short at Saint Peter's by the final score of 63-56 on Sunday at Run Baby Run Arena.

Dezi Jones led the way for the Bobcats, posting 14 points, seven rebounds and four assists.

Ike Nweke chipped in with 10 points and six rebounds, and Luis Kortright added 10 points and four rebounds.

NOTES

The Bobcats went on a 23-10 run over the last 10:37 of the first half. Saint Peter's took an early 17-7 lead, but QU finished the first half with a 29-27 lead following the outburst.
Dezi Jones' 14 points led the Bobcats. He also added seven rebounds and four assists, shooting 4-for-11 from the field.
Ike Nweke recorded 10 points and eight rebounds.
Luis Kortright chipped in with 10 point and four boards.
Paul Otieno added six points and four rebounds, finishing with a team-best plus/minus rating (+9).
Tymu Chenery and Tyrese Williams each added six points.
Saint Peter's has now taken each of the last five meetings.
Quinnipiac's bench outscored SPU 16-15.
