NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y.—Quinnipiac women's soccer suffered their first loss in MAAC play to Iona on Saturday, Oct. 15, in a close battle. The Bobcats lost 1-0 to the Gaels at Mazzella Field in New Rochelle, N.Y.

The Bobcats move to 10-2-1, 6-1-0 on the season and resumes the MAAC schedule on Wednesday, Oct. 19 against Manhattan at QU Soccer Stadium in Hamden.

SCORING SUMMARY
First Half

(42'—Quinnipiac 0, Iona 1): The Gaels scored with just three minutes remaining in the first half as Mackenzie Meixner managed to bury one past Sofia Lospinoso, which would end up being the only goal of the contest.
