
Bobcats Finish 9th At Penn State National Meet

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Quinnipiac women's cross country placed ninth overall out of 18 teams on Friday at the Penn State National Meet in University Park, Penn. The Bobcats had five runners finish in the Top 100.
Emily Young finished as the Bobcats' best performer, finishing 30th overall with a time of 21:27.7. Liv DiStefano posted Quinnipiac's second best time (21:30.2) as she ended the meet in 32nd place.
Corinne Barney came in 48th place with a time of 21:53.2, Alessandra Zaffina posted a time of 22:05.9 en route to a 55th place finish, and Rachel St. Germain came in 62nd place (22:12.7)

- Liv DiStefano (8th Place at Stony Brook Season Opener, 7th at Siena XC Invitational, 31st at Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown) finished 32nd overall – recording the second-best QU time of the event.
- Corinne Barney (11th Place at Stony Brook Season Opener, 3rd at Siena XC Invitational, 8th at New England Championships) finished as QU's third highest performer..
- First year Tess Bossdorf finished in 102nd place, Grace Michaud finished in 112th place, Sierra Gray ended the race in 124th place, Asia Mercier finished in 137th place, and Lydia Keys rounded things out for the Bobcats finishing in 141st place.
