Bongiovanni Tallies a Pair, Bobcats Defeat Dartmouth

St. Cyr's 18 Saves Run Quinnipiac Streak to 15 Unbeaten
HAMDEN, Conn. – Senior captain Wyatt Bongiovanni scored twice as Quinnipiac ran its unbeaten streak to 15 games with a 3-1 victory over Dartmouth on Sunday evening. Graduate student goaltender Dylan St. Cyr made 18 saves to earn his sixth win in eight starts this season.
The Bobcats jumped out to an early lead thanks to two first period goals. Defenseman Brendan Less scored seven minutes into the period when he fired home an off-angle shot from the bottom of the faceoff circle to give Quinnipiac the lead.
Later in the period, Bongiovanni poked a loose puck through the legs of Dartmouth's goaltender after a miscue on the goal line. Bongiovanni then doubled his efforts with an empty-netter in the game's final minutes.
