Kaylee Sakoda Shoots Even Par to Finish Second

BLOOMFIELD, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women's golf team finished second at the Hartford/Tumble Brook Invitational on Friday. The Bobcats came in only behind Boston University, but defeated all of the other MAAC teams at the invitational. As a team, the Bobcats recorded a score of 311 (+23).

Kaylee Sakoda led the Bobcats shooting an even par 72. That score was good enough for the second best score among all individual golfers. Captains Elena Lopez and Elena Ybarra finished T-14Ybarra recorded , shooting a +7, 79.

SCORES AND NOTES

Sakoda improved her season best score for the second consecutive tournament as she shot an even par 72 on Friday. Her previous best score was a four over, 76, which she shot against Fairfield on Wednesday.
Peralta recorded her third top-15 finish of the season.
Ybarra finished in T-14 for her fourth top-15 finish of the season.
Darby Lillibridge finished T-18, shooting a nine over, 81. This is her fourth top-20 finish of the season.
