ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – Senior Jake Tomsik scored the game-winning goal with just 10 seconds remaining, leading Quinnipiac men's lacrosse to a huge road win in the Bobcats' 2021 MAAC opener at St. Bonaventure on Saturday.

Tomsik went top-shelf on a feed from Steven Germain, giving QU its first victory of the spring 2021 campaign.

Junior netminder Nick DiMuccio made a season-high 14 saves in the win. The Bobcats defense was stellar all day, allowing just four goals on 36 shots faced.

Jake Tomsik recorded two goals and one assist to pace the Bobcats offense. He scored the game-winner with 10 seconds left in regulation – his 79^th career goal with QU.
Steven Germain chipped in with two assists. He also recorded two helpers in the Bobcats' season opener, giving him four assists for the season.
Dylan Donnery, Jake Tellers and Matt Miller each chipped in with a first-half goal.
Junior netminder Nick DiMuccio stopped 14 shots, making eight saves in the second half. He has 334 saves in his Quinnipiac career. DiMuccio also picked up four ground balls.
Quinnipiac's defense caused eight Bonnies turnovers.
