
Five Bobcats Score in Win over SLU on Senior Day

Ten Bobcats tallied a point in the 5-3 conference victory
HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team celebrated Senior Day with an exciting 5-3 win over St. Lawrence on Sunday afternoon. Five different Bobcats scored in the win, with sophomore Sadie Peart scoring the game-winning goal in the third period.
Seniors Taylor House and Laura Lundblad scored on their senior day, and redshirt-sophomore Courtney Vorster and first-year Olivia Mobley also added goals in the win. Logan Angers made 16 saves and recorded her fifth win of the season.
St. Lawrence's Julia Gosling, Shailynn Snow and Jessica Poirier netted goals for the Saints.
The Bobcats honored the team's seven seniors and two support staff seniors after the game. Quinnipiac and St. Lawrence will meet once more on Monday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m., in Hamden.

- (14:30, 2nd period EV) – Quinnipiac 3, St. Lawrence 3: Jessica Poirier tied the game off a tip right near the crease. Chloe Puddifant and Taylor Lum recorded assists.
- (9:18, 3rd period EV) – Quinnipiac 4, St. Lawrence 3: Sophomore Sadie Peart netted the game-winning goal in the third period after first-year Nina Steigauf scrambled in the corner to retrieve the puck from the Saints. Steigauf then found senior Grace Markey who sent the puck to Peart on the right side. Peart fired it first-time past Jamie Rainville.
- (13:36, 3rd period PP) – Quinnipiac 5, St. Lawrence 3: First-year Olivia Mobley scored the dagger goal in the third period off a tip in from a shot by first-year Kendall Cooper.
- Ten Bobcats tallied points in the win. Mobley led the team with a goal and an assist.
- Sophomore Alexa Hoskin, senior Taylor Girard, Markey, Steigauf, Cooper and Mobley all notched a helper in the win.
- Senior Taylor House scored her fifth goal of the season and now has 12 points.
- Mobley scored her second goal of the season and notched her first mutli-point game of the year.
- Redshirt sophomore Logan Angers made 16 saves.
- Quinnipiac outshot St. Lawrence, 38-19.
- The Bobcats scored the team's first power play goal since Jan. 17 and were perfect on the penalty kill.
- Quinnipiac won the faceoff battle, winning 61.2%.
