St. Cyr Makes 18 Saves in Tie
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – First year Jacob Quillan scored for the second-straight game as Quinnipiac men's ice hockey tied American International, 2-2, at the MassMutual Center on Friday evening.
CJ McGee scored on a rebound in the third period to tie the game just 1:03 after the Yellow Jackets took the lead. It was the junior's first goal of the season, assisted by Desi Burgart and Michael Lombardi, who leads the team in points so far this season.

- Quinnipiac out-shot the Yellow Jackets 35-27 in the tie.
- The face-off circle continued to be a strength for Quinnipiac as the Bobcats won 38 and lost 28 draws on the night.
- The Bobcats had 81 shot attempts in the game and AIC blocked 25 shots in the defensive effort.
- Yaniv Perets made seven first period saves before leaving the game at the end of the frame. Dylan St. Cyr replaced Perets and finished with 18 saves.
- Both teams went scoreless on the power play. Quinnipiac had two chances and AIC had three.
- The Bobcats and Yellow Jackets will go toe-to-toe once again tomorrow as the teams drop the puck at the People's United Center in Hamden at 4:00 PM.
