Metsa, Chau Record Multi-Point Nights in 5-2 Win

Bobcats Upend Holy Cross in Tuesday Tilt
HAMDEN, Conn. – Graduate student Oliver Chau recorded his second multi-point game of the season and senior Zach Metsa added a goal and an assist to push #5/5 Quinnipiac past Holy Cross on Tuesday night at the People's United Center.
Former Quinnipiac associate head coach Bill Riga returned to Hamden as the head coach of the Crusaders.
Ethan de Jong, Wyatt Bongiovanni, and first year Jacob Quillan all scored for the Bobcats, with Quillan tallying the first goal of his collegiate career.

- Quinnipiac out-shot the Crusaders 42-21 in the win.
- The Bobcats dominated the faceoff circle once again, winning 41 of 59 draws in the game. Bongiovanni won 16 of 21 attempts.
- Metsa and Chau both posted multi-point games for the second time this season.
- Quillan's first collegiate goal was assisted by Cristophe Tellier who also earned the first point of his career. The goal marks 17 different Quinnipiac skaters with at least one point on the season and 12 different goal scorers.
- Dylan St. Cyr made 19 saves in his second victory of the season, while Thomas Gale made 37 stops for Riga's Crusaders.
- Quinnipiac continues the non-conference slate by traveling to Springfield, Mass. on Friday evening to take on American International. The Yellow Jackets will return the favor on Saturday afternoon by visiting the People's United Center for a 4:00 PM contest.
