HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team defeated the LIU Sharks, 4-0, on Saturday afternoon. Four different Bobcats scored in Quinnipiac's first shutout of the season. First-years Veronica Bac and Maya Labad scored their first career goals.
Redshirt junior Logan Angers made 10 saves in the win and tallied her first shutout victory of the year.

- (9:27, 1st period, PP) – Quinnipiac 1, LIU 0: Quinnipiac got the scoring started in the first period with a goal from junior Sadie Peart. First-year Ann-Frédérik Naud secured the puck from redshirt Courtney Vorster and sent it to Peart in the corner. Peart skated towards the goal and sent the puck past LIU's Tindra Holm.
- (4:36, 2nd period, EV) – Quinnipiac 2, LIU 0: First-year Veronica Bac netted her first collegiate goal to give the Bobcats a 2-0 lead. Junior Jessica Schryver and graduate student Olivia Konigson recorded assists on the goal.
- (9:03, 2nd period, EV) – Quinnipiac 3, LIU 0: Shortly after Bac's goal, first-year Maya Labad scored her first collegiate goal from sophomore Nina Steigauf and graduate student Taylor House.
- (14:27, 3rd period, EV) – Quinnipiac 4, LIU 0: Sophomore Olivia Mobley netted her fourth goal of the weekend in the third period. Schryver tallied her second helper of the day on the goal.
- Ten different Bobcats recorded at least one point in the win.
- Schryver led the team with two assists.
- Mobley netted her fourth goal and fifth point of the weekend.
- Peart scored her second goal of the weekend series and now has three goals and five assists this season.
- The Bobcats out shot the Sharks, 47-10. Quinnipiac went 1-6 on the power play.
- Quinnipiac won 64% of the faceoffs. Senior Lexie Adzija led the team with 12 individual wins.
