Hadjigavriel's Eight Saves Not Enough

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Junior goalkeeper Antreas Hadjigavriel made eight saves against Marist on Saturday night, but the Red Foxes still took a 2-0 result from Quinnipiac in MAAC action.

Marist's Skylar Conway broke the deadlock with a goal in the 69th minute and Stefan Copetti sealed things with his own tally in the 86th.

With the loss, Quinnipiac falls to 6-3-0 (1-1-0 MAAC) on the year.

SCORING SUMMARY

SECOND HALF
(69' - Marist 1, Quinnipiac 0): Conway finished a point-blank opportunity from inside the 18 after a feed from Richard Morel.

(86' - Marist 2, Quinnipiac 0): Copetti gained possession near midfield and broke into a full sprint towards the Quinnipiac goal. After outrunning two Bobcats defenders, he was able to finish over the shoulder of Hadjigavriel to ice the game.
