
Three Bobcats Finish Within Top-10 at SHU Invite

MILFORD, Conn. – Quinnipiac golf concluded its play at the Sacred Heart Invitational on Monday afternoon with a fourth place finish among 11 teams, shooting 632 (319-313; +56), 29 strokes behind event winners Boston University.
The Bobcats had three players finish within the top-10, led by sophomore Aimee Uchida who her team-best fourth top-10 finish of the season. Uchida shot two-over in the second round to close with a score of 155 (81-74; +11) to tie for eighth place to lead Quinnipiac
First year Meg Yoshida and junior Leeyen Peralta earned top-10 finishes as well, as the duo tied for 10th. The duo each shot 156 (78-78; +12) to tie at the Great River Golf Course. First year Elyse Kim followed, tying for 35th after shooting an 165 (82-83; +21). Senior Elena Lopez rounded out the Bobcats' group, as she tied for 44th after turning in a 172 (87-85; +28).
Quinnipiac's three individuals who competed at the SHU Invitational all finished within the top-55, led by senior Darby Lillibridge's tie for 28th place. A native of Genova, Ill., Lillibridge shot 9-over 81 in both rounds to tie for 28th. Junior Mia Grzywinski and senior Amanda Tullly rounded out Quinnipiac's individuals, shooting 28-over 172 and 36-over 18, respectively.
The Bobcats will be back in action on Monday, Oct. 25 when they open competition at the St. John's Invitational held at St. Andrew's Golf Club in Hastings on the Hudson, New York.
