BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Quinnipiac women's cross country team competed at the 47th Annual Paul Short Run on Friday morning. Northern Arizona's Taryn O'Neil finished first in the Women's College Gold 6k. Over 4,000 runners competed in the event with 291 women competing in the open 6k and 343 running in the college gold 6k.
Quinnipiac took 24th place out of 38 teams in the Women's College Gold 6k.

Individual Results (Women's College Gold 6k) - 343 runners
- Senior Emily Young led the team in the College Gold 6k with a time of (21.17.3) and finished in 64th place.
- Sophomore Liv DiStefano took 64th place with a time of 21:21.6.
- In 111th place, sophomore Alessandra Zaffina recorded a time of 21:46.4.
- Senior Amanda Carlson took 194th place with a time of 22:29.7.
- Senior Kate Gihorski finished in 210th place (22:39.0).
- Not far behind Gihorski, junior Marisa Keiser placed 217th with a time of 22:43.4.
- First-year Lydia Keys finished with a time of 22:49.3 in 233rd place.
- In 255th place, first-year Grace Michaud placed 255th with a time of 23:02.7.
- Sophomore Ana Caliri took 306th place, notching a time of 23:45.6.
- Graduate student Heather Feuchtenberger led the Bobcats with a time of 23:13.3 in the open 6k, taking 43rd place overall.
- Senior Katie Bradley was right behind Feuchtenberger with a time of 23:14.6 in 44th place.
- Junior Cassidy Phillips took 48th place with a time of 23:17.4.
- In 58th place, senior Mia Pestle recorded a time of 23:37.8.
- Sophomore Jada Dennis notched a time of 23:44.9, finishing in 62nd place.
- Junior Clare Veverka took 82nd place (24:08.0).
- In 108th place, sophomore Asia Mercier recorded a time of 24:27.5.
- First-year Christina Gunsalus tallied a time of 24:46.1 in 130th place.
- Senior Madeleine Shellard notched a time of 27:08.3 in 251st place.
- Quinnipiac will be back in action in Boston, Mass., at the New England Championships on Oct. 9.
