QU Athletics Announces Fall 2020 Academic Success

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac Athletics has announced its academic success for the Fall 2020 semester, as the Bobcats' 21 varsity programs combined for a department-wide 3.53 grade point average.
All 21 varsity programs carried a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the seventh consecutive semester, dating back to the start of the 2017-18 academic year.
426 student-athletes finished with a GPA of 3.0 or better, while 243 appeared on the Dean's List. An impressive 72 total student-athletes earned a 4.0 fall term GPA.
Women's cross country recorded the highest GPA (3.72) of any athletic team, while men's soccer (3.59) earned the highest average mark for any male program. 15 Quinnipiac teams finished the fall 2020 semester with an average GPA of 3.50 or higher.
The fall academic success comes on the heels of an impressive spring 2020 semester. 38 student-athletes finished with a GPA of 3.0 or better in the spring of 2020, while 257 appeared on the Dean's List.
