Bobcats Announce Academic Success for Spring 2020

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac Athletics has announced its academic success for the Spring 2020 semester, as the Bobcats' 21 varsity programs combined for a department-wide 3.67 grade point average.
All 21 varsity programs carried a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the third consecutive year at Quinnipiac.
Women's golf recorded the highest GPA (3.97) of any athletic team, while men's ice hockey (3.80) earned the highest average mark for any male program. 18 Quinnipiac teams finished the spring semester with an average GPA of 3.50 or higher.
438 student-athletes finished with a GPA of 3.0 or better, while 257 appeared on the Dean's List. An impressive 91 total student-athletes earned a 4.0 spring term GPA.
The Spring 2020 academic success comes on the heels of an impressive fall. 358 student-athletes finished with a 3.0 or higher GPA in the Fall 2019 semester, with 238 earning Dean's List honors.
