Bobcats Pick Up Three Singles Points on Saturday

MEDIA, Pa. – Quinnipiac men's tennis fell in non-conference action on Saturday at Saint Joseph's, falling by the final score of 4-3 at Springton Tennis Club.
Patrick Cachapero, Axel Stern and Aleksa Martinovic all earned wins in singles play, while Austin Yannone and Alester Magalit won in No. 3 doubles for the Bobcats.

NOTES

Cachapero earned a two-set victory in No. 2 singles. He now has five singles wins and 11 total victories so far this season. Cachapero has 83 wins, needing just 17 more to reach 100 for his Bobcat career.
Stern moves to 9-5 in singles play with the three set win in the No. 4 slot. He has 18 total wins this year.
Martinovic earned a two-set win at No. 5 singles, improving his singles record to 6-6 this year. He has 15 total wins in 2019-20.
Austin Yannone and Alester Magalit teamed up to win 6-3 at No. 3 doubles, their first win as a tandem this year. Yannone now has 85 career wins, needing just 15 more to reach 100.
