House, Peart Lift No. 10/10 Women's Ice Hockey Past No. 6/6 Princeton in OT

Bobcats win in thrilling fashion, House nets game-winner in OT
PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 10/10 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team downed the No. 6/6 Princeton Tigers, 3-2, in overtime on Saturday afternoon in the second game of the ECAC Quarterfinals. Junior Taylor House tipped in the game-winning goal in overtime to lift the Bobcats past the Tigers. First-year Sadie Peart notched three points with two goals and one assist in the win.
Senior netminder Abbie Ives recorded 38 saves and tallied her 17th win of the year. Head coach Cass Turner earned her 99th win of her career.
The Bobcats will play the Tigers in game three of the quarterfinals on Sunday, March 1 at 3 p.m.

- (19:00, 1st period, EV) – Quinnipiac 0, Princeton 1: Princeton's Maggie Connors skate up the ice by herself and down the left side. She hit a shot from a difficult angle and scored the first goal of the game.
- (6:32, 2nd period, EV) – Quinnipiac 1, Princeton 1: First-year Sadie Peart blocked a shot on the defensive end near the point and got the turnover in the neutral zone. She skated on the break-away by herself and buried the puck past Princeton's Stephanie Neatby to even the score.
- (13:53, 2nd period, EV) – Quinnipiac 2, Princeton 1: Sophomore Courtney Vorster got the puck above the circle and shot it towards the net and Peart tipped it in to give the Bobcats a 2-1 lead.
- (17:09, 3rd period, PP) – Quinnipiac 2, Princeton 2: The Tigers tied the game with a power play goal late in the third period. Carly Bullock scored on the left side from Claire Thompson and Sarah Fillier.
- (1:45, OT, EV) – Quinnipiac 3, Princeton 2: Sophomore Lexie Adzija won an offensive zone faceoff and found Vorster on the left point. Vorster shot towards the net, and junior Taylor House tipped it in and scored the game-winning goal.
- Peart tallied two goals in the team's 20th win of the season. The first year now has 12 goals and 11 assists for 23 points this season.
- House scored the game-winning goal in overtime off a tip from Vorster. The junior has nine goals and six assists for 15 points on the year.
- Vorster tallied two assists and has four on the season.
- Junior Grace Markey and sophomore Lexie Adzija added one helper each.
- Senior Abbie Ives had 38 saves in the 3-2 win. The senior moves to 17-12-3 overall.
- Princeton out shot Quinnipiac 40-31.
