No. 10/10 Women's Ice Hockey Falls to Princeton in Double Overtime, 3-2

PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 10/10 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey lost to No. 6/6 Princeton, 3-2, in double overtime on Sunday afternoon. The Bobcats pulled off a miraculous comeback after going down, 2-0, in the second period. Junior Taylor Girard scored first for the Bobcats to put the team within one goal of the Tigers' lead. Senior Sarah-Eve Coutu-Godbout scored the equalizer with under two minutes to play in regulation. Senior netminder Abbie Ives recorded a career-high 47 saves.
The Tigers would score eight minutes into the second overtime period to win, 3-2. Princeton will go on to play in the ECAC Semifinals in Ithaca, N.Y., next weekend.
Seniors Abbie Ives, Kati Tabin, Kezie Prater, Allison Roethke and Coutu-Godbout finished their four-year career as Bobcats. They left everything on the ice, and finished their tremendous careers in one of the most memorable playoff weekends in Quinnipiac history.

Over four years, Ives recorded a record of 46-41-13 with a save percentage of .926 and a 1.79 goals against average. She is ranked second on Quinnipiac's program all-time record list for career saves with 2,231.
