HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's basketball dropped a MAAC contest vs. Saint Peter's, 71-51, on Saturday afternoon at the People's United Center in Hamden. With the loss, Quinnipiac moves to 9-7 overall – going 4-2 over its first six league games.

Redshirt junior forward Kevin Marfo recorded his eighth double-double of the season, scoring a team-high 14 points to go along with 13 rebounds and two blocks in 27 minutes.

Marfo's 14-point, 13-rebound performance gives him his eighth double-double of the year. The junior is still the only Division I player in the country to grab 10+ rebounds each time his team has taken the floor this season. Marfo ranks No. 2 nationally in rebounds per game (13.8). Marfo shot 10-for-11 from the free-throw line.
Junior guard Rich Kelly added 11 points and five assists. Kelly now has 983 career points, needing just 17 more to reach 1,000 for his QU career.
Jacob Rigoni scored five points and recorded a season-high nine rebounds.
Aaron Falzon scored six points and grabbed five rebounds, and Matt Balanc chipped in with six points of his own.
The Bobcats are now 5-7 all-time vs. Saint Peter's.
Quinnipiac shot 11-of-59 (18.6 percent) from the floor.
