Bobcats Earn 50th Straight MAAC Win on Senior Day

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac women's tennis won its 50th straight MAAC contest on Saturday afternoon, cruising past Siena by the final score of 6-1 on Senior Day at the Outdoor Tennis Complex.
The Bobcats are now 6-12 (3-0 MAAC) so far this season, winning their 40th consecutive regular season conference contest. With 50-straight conference wins (counting the postseason), Quinnipiac owns the largest active conference winning streak in Division I tennis.
Quinnipiac honored its three seniors – Alexandra Mircea, Proyfon Lohaphaisan, and Jennifer Lu – with a short ceremony prior to Saturday's match.

- Dominique Vasile and Jennifer Lu each recorded a singles and a doubles match win, leading the way for the Bobcats.
- Vasile teamed with Proyfon Lohaphaisan in No. 1 doubles, improving to 7-5 as a duo this season. Vasile also earned a No. 1 singles win, her 10th singles victory of 2018-19.
- Lu and Layla Rodriguez earned a No. 3 doubles win, their second win of the season as a tandem. Lu also recorded a 6-1, 6-1 victory in No. 2 singles, improving to 10-14 in singles play this year.
- Kamilla Nella now has a 11 singles wins – which ranks second on the team – earning a three-set win in No. 3 singles play.
- Payton Bradley improves to 10-15 in singles matches with the No. 5 win.
- Courtney Nash won in straight sets to record her team-best 12th singles victory.
