Bobcats Begin Final Month of Season at Hoya Invitational and SHU Spring Invite
HAMDEN, Conn. – With just over two weeks until the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championships in Florida, the Quinnipiac women's golf team is set to compete in two tournaments spanning Sunday-Tuesday. Part of the team will head to the Hoya Invitational in Beallsville, Maryland, while Casey Oppenheimer and Amanda Tully will participate in the SHU Spring Invite hosted by Sacred Heart in Milford, Connecticut.

LAST TIME OUT - Tar Heel Classic - La Romana, Dominican Republic
- Queenie Lai posted a 73 (+1) in the final round of the Tar Heel Classic as the Quinnipiac women's golf team wrapped up competition in La Romana, Dominican Republic early Saturday afternoon. The sophomore won her third-straight MAAC Golfer of the Week award for her performance at the tournament.
- Lai finished tied for 39th overall after a strong final round. The sophomore finished the tournament at +9 (74-78-73=225) and finished higher than two golfers ranked in the top 100 nationally. She was one of just 30 golfers in the tournament to record eight birdies on the weekend, including three in the final round.
- Luciana Tobia (La Paz, Bolivia) finished strong, playing her final eight holes at one-over par, but ultimately finished her weekend at +17 (78-75-80=233). She recorded a birdie in all three rounds, including two in the first round on Friday.
- Elena Ybarra (Madrid, Spain) was consistent all weekend, tallying five birdies (twice on the par-4 10th) and 26 pars. She did not play any front or back 9 at worse than six-over par.
- Elena Lopez (Clarence, New York) recorded at least seven pars in all three rounds and birdied one par three in both of yesterday's rounds.
- Amanda Tully (Brewster, New York) recorded her second collegiate birdie in the final round and played her best stretch of the weekend in the middle of her final round, going two-over par from the 6th to the 12th hole.
