Yannone Clinches Win in No. 6 Singles, Bobcats Best Wagner

STATEN ISLAND, NY – Quinnipiac men's tennis junior Austin Yannone won a tight No. 6 singles contest, helping clinch the Bobcats' 4-3 non-conference victory over Wagner on Thursday afternoon. With the win, the Bobcats move to 5-10 (2-0 MAAC) so far this season.
Aleksa Martinovic and Hielke Moore each won both a singles and a doubles contest to help lead the way for the Bobcats.
Yannone clinches a Quinnipiac win in three sets, topping Wagner's Dale Sandy 2-6, 6-2, 10-8.
