HAMDEN, Conn. –The Quinnipiac men's tennis team returns to the outdoor courts for the first time this season, hosting Marist in a conference matchup.
Matches are set to begin at 3:00 pm.

HAMDEN, Conn. –The Quinnipiac men's tennis team returns to the outdoor courts for the first time this season, hosting Marist in a conference matchup.
Matches are set to begin at 3:00 pm.
SCOUTING MARIST
- QU has won the last five matches over Marist, dating back to the 2021-22 season.
- The teams of Nick Suhanitski / Thomas Bevan & Jose Catala / Fateh Singh went 2-0 against Niagara and Sacred Heart. Catala also went 2-0 in singles.
- Alejandro Abella Fernandez, Danté Despontin, and Anirudh Nallaparaju each went 2-0 in singles.
- The Bobcats picked up their first MAAC win of the season defeating Siena 6-1, which broke a five-match losing streak.
- Carlos Braun Simo / Alessandro Sciacca and Elias Hoxha / Finn Burridge each earned their fifth doubles win of the season.
- Braun Simo picked up his sixth singles win of the season.
- Hoxha earned his fifth singles win of the season and continues to be undefeated in singles play against MAAC opponents.
- Vishal Prakash earned his second singles win of the season.
- Alessandro Sciacca picked up his fourth singles win of the season.
- Csanad Nyaradi picked up his second singles win of the season.
- The teams of Carlos Braun Simo / Elias Hoxha & Finn Burridge / Alessandro Sciacca each won their respective doubles matchups to advance to the round of 64.
- Carlos Braun Simo won his main draw singles consolation match, defeating Ethan Chung (Yale): 7-5, 7-6 (9-7).
BACK-TO-BACK MAAC CHAMPS
- Quinnipiac men's tennis won its second straight MAAC title this past season, defeating Rider 4-1 in the championship.
- Elias Hoxha was named Most Outstanding Performer for his clinch in the win over Rider.
- In the semifinal, QU defeated Niagara 4-1.
- The Bobcats returned to their second straight NCAA Tournament, falling to No. 23 Clemson 4-0.
ALL-MAAC SELECTIONS
- The Bobcats return All-MAAC selections Elias Hoxha, Carlos Braun Simo, and Finn Burridge.
- Hoxha maintains a perfect 10-0 record against MAAC opponents.
