Will Abbott Named MAAC Rookie of the Week

EDISON, N.J. - Quinnipiac men's lacrosse midfielder Will Abbott has been named MAAC Rookie of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday, Feb. 11.
Abbott, a first-year midfielder, recorded five points in the Bobcats' season opener at UMass Lowell on Saturday. He scored two goals to go along with three assists, registering three points in the final quarter of the contest.
Both of the freshman's goals came in the fourth quarter. Abbott had eight total shots – four on net.
Quinnipiac returns to action next Saturday, Feb. 16, traveling to Brown to continue non-conference play.
