
Women's Tennis Earns Two Wins at QU Tennis Courts

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac women's tennis earned a pair of non-conference wins on Saturday, Oct. 5 – downing both St. Francis Brooklyn (6-0) and Sacred Heart (6-1) at the QU Tennis Courts.
Kamilla Nella, Payton Bradley and Layla Rodriguez all earned an impressive four wins for the day.

- The duos of Kamilla Nella/Payton Bradley and Layla Rodriguez/Amy Zammarieh each earned two doubles victories.
- Co-Captain Layla Rodriguez now has 105 career wins at Quinnipiac. She earned her 100th victory last weekend at the West Point Invite, while also winning the D Singles title in the same day. She now has a team-best 11 wins in the fall.
- Kamilla Nella won in straight sets in both singles matches on the day. With four total wins in the day, she now has seven victories over the first three weeks of the fall.
- Co-Captain Payton Bradley also won in straight sets, and now has four total wins this fall.
- Andie Williams won three matches on the day, giving her eight wins in her first fall with the Bobcats.
- Freshman Jordan Bradley won two matches for the day – doubling her season total to four.
- Amy Zammarieh has four wins entering the day of events, and with three more victories she has seven so far this season.
