Neither team scored in Orono in 2nd game of series
ORONO, Maine – The Quinnipiac Bobcats skated to a 0-0 tie on Saturday afternoon against the Maine Black Bears. Neither team scored in the tight, back-and-forth contest. Senior netminder Abbie Ives recorded her first shutout of the season with 23 saves in the tie.

- Ives recorded 23 saves with 13 coming in the second period. She earned her first shutout of the season.
- Senior Kenzie Prater and junior Olivia Konigson both tallied three blocks each to lead the team.
- Maine outshot Quinnipiac 23-20.
- The Bobcats went 0-5 on the power play and Maine went 0-3.
- Quinnipiac won 23/39 faceoffs (59%), and sophomore Lexie Adzija won 11 of her own 18.
- Quinnipiac will have a week off before hosting the Sacred Heart Pioneers on Friday, Oct. 25 in Hamden, Conn., for a two-game home series.
