Four Bobcats Record Double Figures Led by Brittany Martin with 16 Points

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – The Quinnipiac women's basketball team continued its hot shooting Sunday afternoon as the Bobcats cruised past the Iona Gaels, 76-39, in MAAC action. The Bobcats shot 45.8 percent from the floor and were 9 for 20 on three-pointers.

Brittany Martin (Sicklerville, New Jersey) led all scorers with 16 points and shot 4 for 5 from beyond the arc. Four Bobcats finished the game in double figures in scoring as Paige Warfel (Chester Springs, Pennsylvania) totaled 13 points, Aryn McClure (Springfield Gardens, New York) had 12 and Edel Thornton (Gurranabraher, Ireland) recorded 11.

The Bobcats led wire-to-wire for a second straight game and rolled to the 37-point victory. Additionally, Quinnipiac forced 31 turnovers, it's third time forcing at least 31 turnovers this season.
