Bobcats Defeat Siena by 37, Improve to 7-0 in MAAC
HAMDEN, Conn. – Junior Paige Warfel recorded the first double-double of her career with a 12-point, 10-rebound performance in the Bobcats' 68-31 wire-to-wire victory over Siena on Friday afternoon in Hamden. The win sends Quinnipiac to 7-0 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play and 12-6 overall.

- The first quarter featured very little offense on either end, but saw the Bobcats hold Siena to one field goal (2 points) in the quarter. It is the lowest point total in a single quarter by any Quinnipiac opponent this season, and second-lowest all-time.
- Quinnipiac found its footing in the second quarter, outscoring the Saints, 21-7, and opening up a 29-9 halftime advantage.
- Siena's best frame came in the third quarter, when the Saints tallied 17 points, but were still outscored by Quinnipiac, 18-17.
- The Bobcats finished strong, closing the game on a 21-5 run in the 10-minute fourth quarter.
- Aryn McClure led all scorers with 16 points on 7-11 shooting. The senior hit seven of her last nine shots on the afternoon and added six boards, three assists, and two steals.
- Warfel's double-double was the second by a Bobcat this season. Jen Fay scored 28 points and added 13 rebounds in Quinnipiac's 48-44 win over Providence on November 15.
- Mackenzie DeWees pulled down a career-high 10 rebounds in just 18 minutes on the court.
- Brittany Martin scored ten points, her fifth double-digit effort in conference play. The senior added two assists and two steals in the win.
- After shooting 23.1 percent in the first quarter, the Bobcats shot 24-49 in the final three frames to finish with a 43.5 percent clip for the day.
- Quinnipiac outscored Siena 23-4 off of turnovers and 11-0 in the second chance category.
- The Bobcats average margin of victory in the seven MAAC contests increased to 31 points.
- Nine of the ten Bobcats to touch the floor scored at least two points.
