HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac women's soccer tallied three second-half goals on Sunday afternoon at home, cruising past NJIT in the program's final non-conference contest of the 2018 season. Senior Madison Borowiec (Windsor, Connecticut) scored twice for the Bobcats (3-4-0, 0-0-0 AE)., and freshman Selena Salas (Elche-Alicante, Spain) recorded her first-career goal in the victory.

- The Borowiec/Cascio connection gave the Bobcats a two-goal lead with under 20 minutes to go, as Borowiec buried her second goal of the contest to make it 3-1. The goal is Borowiec's third of the season, as Cascio earned her second helper of the day on the play.

NOTES

Goalkeeper Charlotte Edmunds (Shrewsbury, England) got the win, making four saves in her first start of the season. The junior has allowed just one goal on 16 shots faced so far in 2018.
Borowiec attempted a team-high three shots in the win, while Salas, Lauren Triglione's (West Newbury, Massachusetts) and Emily Loney (East Bridgewater, Massachusetts) all attempted two shots on net.
The win is Quinnipiac's first come-from-behind victory this season. The Bobcats trailed for 27:12 before scoring three unanswered goals in the second half.
The Bobcats recorded six shots in each half (12 total), and attempted five corner kicks in the contest.
