
Cupo Scores Twice, Bobcats Down The Mount in Hamden

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac Women's Soccer defeated Mount St. Mary, 5-1, to pick up their second MAAC win on Saturday afternoon in Hamden.
Senior Morgan Cupo led the Bobcats with two goals on the day. Cupo scored the first goal to get the Bobcats rolling just 11 minutes into the game with assists from junior Anna Bean and sophomore Klara Bengtsson.

Just three minutes later, Bianca D'Onofrio scored a goal to put the Bobcats up 2-0. The strike is D'Onofrio's first collegiate goal, and was ssisted by Madison Alves and Klara Bengtsson.

Klara Bengtsson then scored at 41:41, going bar-down to give Quinnipiac a 3-0 lead just before halftime.

Morgan Cupo extended the lead to 4-0 with a score. Madison Alves assisted on the score.

First-year Ava Young scored the last and final goal of the game, netting her first collegiate goal for the Bobcats in the 88th minute, assisted by junior Racquel Alexander, who recorded her first collegiate assist.
