Women's Golf Finishes Day Two at Boston College Intercollegiate

Canton, Mass. – The Quinnipiac women's golf team completed play at the Boston College Intercollegiate with a +72 score and a eighth-place finish out of 16 teams. On the day, Julia Kemmling (Berlin, Connecticut) led the way with a +4 (76) in the final round.

Julia Kemmling (Berlin, Connecticut) strung together the best round for Quinnipiac in the third round, good for the Bobcats' best finish at the tournament at T-26 with a +16. The Connecticut native had a birdie on the 10th hole and 13 pars on the day.
Queenie Lai (Hong Kong, China) continued her strong 2018-19 campaign with a string of pars throughout the course of the third round. The sophomore ran into trouble on the back nine, playing holes 14-17 at +4.
Alexandra Sahzin (New Fairfield, Connecticut) struggled in the final round, but struck for a birdie on the par 4 17th. The birdie was Sahzin's third birdie of the week as she had two birdies in the second round yesterday.
Luciana Tobia-Palza (La Paz, Bolivia) struck for her first three birdies of the week when the senior captain strung together two in three holes on the back nine and struck for another birdie on the par 4 11th.
Elena Lopez (Clarence, New York) built off of her strong showing yesterday with a +9 (81) in the final round of the tournament. The freshman strung together five-straight pars on the back nine.
Darby Lillibridge (Geneva, Illinois) was the Bobcats' individual golfer at the tournament and finished with an 81 in the final round of the Boston College Intercollegiate.

Quinnipiac will return to the links when they head down the road to The Course at Yale in New Haven, Conn. on October 5th for a weekend of play.
