HAMDEN, Conn. — The Quinnipiac field hockey program enters its third season in the BIG EAST Conference in 2018, after a strong 2017 campaign in league play which saw it defeat Georgetown, Liberty and Temple and give eventual national champion UConn a strong battle at home in the finale before falling 3-1.
We met up with Quinnipiac Head Coach Becca Main and Assistant Coach Cheryl Canada to discuss several offseason topics, including trying to build off the momentum of last year, what the team worked on during the spring season, the process of trying to replace a group of 10 key seniors off of last year's team, and who some of the key names will be to lead the team heading into this fall.
