QU Women's Basketball Wins Tenth-Straight Contest, Defeats Fairfield 77-45

HAMDEN, Conn. - Four players scored in double-figures as the Quinnipiac women's basketball team was able to defeat the Fairfield Stags, 77-45, on Saturday afternoon at the TD Sports Center.
The win was Quinnipiac's 10th in a row as the Bobcats move to 9-0 in MAAC play with a win before hitting the road to take on Canisius on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Jen Fay led the way with 14 points, Paula Strautmane scored 11 points, had three steals and three blocks. Taylor Herd added 11 points and Brittany Martin scored 10 points in the win.
