BUFFALO, N.Y. - Three players scored in double-figures as the Quinnipiac women's basketball team was able to defeat the Canisius Golden Griffins, 84-55, on Friday morning at the Koessler Athletic Center.

The win was Quinnipiac's 11th in a row as the Bobcats move to 10-0 in MAAC play with a win before closing the upstate New York road trip with a contest against Niagara on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Jen Fay led the way with 17 points, Aryn McClure added 16 points and Paula Strautmane scored 10 points, blocked five shots and recorded five steals.

The victory was the Bobcats' seventh road win of the season, Quinnipiac finished last season with 11 road victories.
The victory over Canisius was Quinnipiac's 20th-straight win against a MAAC opponent dating back to last season.
With the win, the Bobcats remain the last team to stay unbeaten in MAAC play.
Jen Fay (Lynbrook, New York) led the way with a game-high 17 points and grabbed six boards in the win.
Fay didn't miss a field goal as she went 6-6 from the floor.
Fay is the first player to shoot 100% from the field (at least five attempts) since Paula Strautmane (Riga, Latvia) went 10-10 against Maine on March 18, 2016.
Aryn McClure (Springfield Gardens, New York) added 16 points in the win.
Strautmane scored 10 points, blocked five shots and tied her career-high of five steals.
Strautmane has had four games this season where she recorded five steals.
Carly Fabbri (Stratford, Connecticut) tied her season-high of seven assists and had no turnovers. Fabbri came into the game 19th in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio.
Taylor Herd (Quakertown, Pennsylvania) scored nine points and recorded a career-high four steals in the win.
The Bobcats forced 27 turnovers and only committed 12. Coming into the contest, Quinnipiac's 5.70 turnover margin ranked 19th in the nation.
After falling behind 10-5 in the first five minutes of the contest, Quinnipiac closed the first quarter with a 14-3 run.
The run was capped by a Chiara Bacchini (Parma, Italy) jumper at the buzzer to give the Bobcats a 19-13 lead heading into the second quarter.
Quinnipiac kept pouring it on in the second quarter as the Bobcats went on a 10-0 run to start the quarter, stretching its run to 24-3.
The run was capped by back-to-back three-pointers from Paula Strautmane (Riga, Latvia).
Herd and Strautmane scored six points apiece during the run.
The Bobcats went into the half up 45-26 after Herd drilled a three-pointer with five seconds remaining.
Quinnipiac's largest lead of the half reached 21 after Edel Thornton (Guarranabraher, Ireland) scored on a layup with 1:46 remaining in the first half to put the Bobcats up 42-21.
