QU Women's Basketball Defeats Monmouth 76-55, Improves to 8-0 in MAAC

WEST LONG BRANCH, New Jersey - After using a series of second-half runs, the Quinnipiac women's basketball team was able to defeat the Monmouth Hawks, 76-55, early Thursday afternoon at the OceanFirst Bank Center.
The win was Quinnipiac's ninth in a row as the Bobcats move to 8-0 in MAAC play with a win before heading back home to take on Fairfield on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Jen Fay led the way with 14 points, Aryn McClure added 13 points and Edel Thornton scored 12 points in the win.
