The Bobcats are currently undefeated, 2-0, in conference plays after wins against Georgetown, 2-1, and Liberty, 1-0, while Villanova enters the weekend in search of its first conference win.

Quinnipiac and Villanova have met three times in their programs' histories, with the Bobcats claiming the last meeting, 5-2, on Sept. 30, 2017. Friday's meeting marks the first time the Wildcats come to Hamden, Connecticut.

- Lauren Belskie (Hillsborough, New Jersey) and Dayna Barlow (Port Elizabeth, South Africa) are currently tied for the team lead in points (8) with three goals and two assists.
- Through the Bobcats' first two BIG EAST Conference games, Belskie is the only player to score in both games.
- Valerie Perkins (Mohegan Lake, New York) is also tied with Belskie and Barlow with a team-high three goals.
- To date, eight different Bobcats have scored to account for Quinnipiac's 16 goals.
- Michelle Federico (Cheshire, Connecticut) currently leads Quinnipiac with three assists, while also scoring twice, for seven points. Federico currently has six points (two goals, two assists) in her last six games.
- Livy Golini (York, Maine) is currently 3-7 with a.683 save percentage and a 2.60 goals against average. In two BIG EAST games, Golini is 2-0 with a .875 save percentage and a 0.50 GAA, which both lead the conference.
