HAMDEN, Connecticut - The Quinnipiac women's tennis team will travel to New York this weekend to compete in the West Point Invitational. The Bobcats are coming off an impressive showing when they hosted the Quinnipiac Invitational over the past weekend. The West Point Invitational will run from Friday, September 22 until Sunday, September 24.

- Paula Miller returns for her fourth season as the Director of Tennis and Quinnipiac Women's Tennis Head Coach. Miller is in search of her fourth-straight MAAC Coach of the Year Award after guiding the Bobcats to a 38-0 record in matches against MAAC opponents since joining the MAAC in the 2013-2014 season.
- the reigning Most Oustanding Performer at the MAAC Championships, Jennifer Lu (Cypress, California), has been chosen and will be competing at the 2017 Oracle/ITA Masters at the Malibu Racquet Club in Malibu, California this weekend.
- This is the second year in a row where a Quinnipiac women's tennis player has been chosen to represent the MAAC at the event.
- LU kicked off her third year with the Bobcats taking home victories in the Backdraw Singles Tournament A Championship at the Stony Brook Invitational and Quinnipiac Invitational.
- Lu also made it to the fnals of the Doubles Tournament A bracket while paired with Dominique Vasile (Bingham Farms, Michigan). The duo fell in a hard-fought battle to Fordham in the finals.
- Lu has 10 victories throughout the first two weekends.
- Payton Bradley (Downingtown, Pennsylvania) excelled in her first weekend with the Bobcats at the Stony Brook Invitational. Bradley advanced in the quarterfinals of the Doubles Tournament A while paired with Layla Rodriguez (Rancho Santa Margarita, California). She also advanced to the semifinals of the Singles Tournament A bracket as well.
- During the Quinnipiac Invitational, Bradley scored three victories with one coming in singles competition and two in doubles competition while paired with Rodriguez again.
- Proyfon Lohaphaisan (Santa Clarita, California) has advanced to the semifinals of the past two invitationals.
- Lohaphaisan has collected five victories through the first two weekends.
- Courtney Nash (Andover, Massachusetts) obtained two victories for Quinnipiac this weekend on the Bobcats' home court.
